AADAC - Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse CommissionWhat is AADAC? AADAC stands for the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission. It is an agency of the government of Alberta. AADAC provides alcohol and other drug addiction services to the people of Alberta. In 1994, AADAC also became responsible for dealing with problem gambling in the province. What is AADACs mission? Our mission is to help Albertans to live free from the abuse of alcohol, other drugs and gambling. Where is AADAC located? AADAC and the agencies it funds offer prevention and treatment services in locations throughout the province. What kinds of services does AADAC offer?
What services does AADAC offer young people? AADAC prevention staff are available to assist youth and the adults who care for them. Together, they work on activities that address alcohol, other drug and gambling-related issues that are important to youth in the communities.
