Effects Of Pot
- Pot has a different effect on each person. This partly depends on your past use as well as:
- how strong the pot is (how much THC it has)
- what you expect to happen
- what’s happening around you at the time
- how the pot is taken
- whether you are drinking alcohol or using other drugs
- Some people feel nothing at all when they use pot. Others may feel relaxed or high.
- Colours can sometimes seem brighter, sounds and smells more distinct.

- Some users feel happy and start talking a lot; others get quiet and withdrawn.
- Cannabis is a mood–altering drug. This means it changes how the brain works.
- Sometimes pot can make you feel thirsty and very hungry — an effect called the munchies.
