Effects Of Pot

  • Pot has a different effect on each person. This partly depends on your past use as well as:
    • how strong the pot is (how much THC it has)
    • what you expect to happen
    • what’s happening around you at the time
    • how the pot is taken
    • whether you are drinking alcohol or using other drugs
  • Some people feel nothing at all when they use pot. Others may feel relaxed or high.
  • Colours can sometimes seem brighter, sounds and smells more distinct.Munchies
  • Some users feel happy and start talking a lot; others get quiet and withdrawn.
  • Cannabis is a mood–altering drug. This means it changes how the brain works.
  • Sometimes pot can make you feel thirsty and very hungry — an effect called the munchies.
