Gambling Definition
Gambling is the act of risking money, property or something of value on an activity with an uncertain outcome.
15% of youth may be at risk of developing gambling problems.
8% of youth have gambling problems.
Youth are four times more likely to get into trouble with gambling than adults.
Gambling takes many forms, including:
- raffle tickets, lottery tickets or scratch and win tickets
- card games for money
- games of skill, such as pool, golf, arm wrestling or darts, for money
- Sport Select
