  • Spit tobacco is tobacco that you put in your mouth.
  • It is also called chew, snuff, dip, and smokeless tobacco.
  • Spit tobacco contains more nicotine than cigarettes.
  • Using spit tobacco increases the risk of cancer of the cheek and gum as much as 50 times.
  • Dribbling chew out of your mouth is disgusting.
  • Some young athletes, who do not smoke because of the effect it would have on their lungs, use spit tobacco instead.
  • Spit tobacco does not give them more energy and make them better at their sport.
