Will smoking make me sick? |

Yes it will. When you first try smoking, you may feel sick to your stomach, feel dizzy and have diarrhea. After awhile, smoking will shrink your blood vessels. They won’t be able to carry as much oxygen to your body. Smoking clogs up your lungs. You may cough a lot more, bring up more phlegm (gob!) and have trouble breathing. Using tobacco will wear down your immune system and make your body less able to fight off sickness. You’re likely to have more colds and worse colds, tonsillitis and ear infections. The longer you use tobacco, the older you get, the worse it gets. Smoking causes mouth cancer, throat cancer, lung cancer and more. Smoking can cause heart attack, sudden death, stroke and a host of other problems.
